I grew up in a Latino family, surrounded by military members, and spent summers with my mom on communes in Oregon. This gave me a wide understanding of humankind. I am a clinical supervisor/counselor whose focus includes trauma, healing the inner child, changing survival skills to thrive skills, inner critic ninja skills, and freedom from shame.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with almost 10 years of experience working with underserved populations who may be currently or at risk of experiencing crisis. I enjoy clinical work and use a mixture of therapies for most conditions including low mood, relationship distress, anxiety, trauma exposure, psychosis and other diagnoses.

I'm a therapist with 20 years of experience helping adults and adolescents with grief, trauma, mental health, sex and sexuality, problematic substance use, behavioral addictions, and many other concerns. I am open-minded and non-judgmental, and LGBTQ+ allied.

I use an eclectic approach to treat depression, anxiety, personality disorders, LGBTQIA issues, marriage/couples, and family counseling. I work with therapeutic modalities including CBT, DBT, the Gottman Method, Attachment Theory, Grief Counseling, Motivational Interviewing, and Family Counseling.

I am an Air Force Veteran and a Psychotherapist (LPCC-S, NCC). I am licensed in four states: Oregon, Maine, Ohio, and Kentucky. I have been working with individuals and couples since 2004. My Specialties include: LGBTQIA, sexual concerns, relationship issues, anxiety, and grief.

Starting therapy can be incredibly difficult and scary. I try to ease that difficulty and discomfort by bringing compassion, authenticity, and curiosity to the therapy space. I work with adolescents and adults to help them achieve their therapeutic goals using a holistic approach. When I'm not practicing therapy, I enjoy gardening, being outside, listening to music, and spending time with friends and family.

I completed my Clinical hours from 2009 to 2013. I received my Clinical Social Work License in December 2013.
