I have lived a long and colorful life. I've made good and bad choices. I have 22+ years of experience in the mental health and substance abuse treatment field. I DO NOT JUDGE, AT ALL, PERIOD. I can be both blunt and gentle as appropriate. My life's work can be summed up in three words: "offering people hope".

My pronouns are (she/her). I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC in 2012. I earned a master’s degree in Social Work from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio in 2019. I am licensed to practice in the states of NC, SC and VA.

I have been in practice for 43 years, with specialties in general mental health and behavioral health problems and challenges. I provide a practical, compassionate space for teens, adults, families, and leaders to work through stress, trauma, relationships, and life transitions while building healthier patterns and greater clarity.

With over 15 years of clinical experience, I am passionate about empowering individuals and couples as they navigate life transitions and work toward relational healing. My specialties include sex therapy and support for desire disparity, infidelity recovery, couples communication and conflict repair.

I am an independent licensed social worker in clinical practice. My previous work experience has been in mental health in the community and the prison system. I have also worked in a hospice providing grief counseling.
