I would describe my communication style as taking a client-centered approach with a very down-to-earth and straightforward communication style.

My journey to mental healthcare

I began with a focus on working with children, which led me to work with families and, subsequently, with adults. I have found passion for various areas of study, research, growth and practice. I have always been fascinated by human behavior, behavior patterns, and the power of thought. I also hold compassion and stability in the face of trauma.

My goals for you

Sessions with me are often psychodynamic and psychoanalytic. Your takeaway will be a review of several new perspectives, ideas, options, and solution-focused strategies to implement in your day-to-day. I can ensure that sessions end on a good note, with grounding, meditation, or a goal-oriented discussion to leave you feeling validated & supported.

Our first session

Generally, I'm trying to get to know you! A first session includes lots of questions, lots of jokes, and lots of recognition of you as a person with no judgment. I'm here to support you in your journey towards growth.
