My desire is always to create an environment that is a safe space for you to share your true feelings, experiences, and symptoms without fear of judgment. I believe in building genuine rapport and fostering open, honest communication throughout our work together.

My journey to mental healthcare

My first job in healthcare during nursing school was as a Mental Health Tech or Patient Care Tech in a hospital psychiatric ward. I became very knowledgeable regarding the different mental health diagnoses, symptoms, and treatment modalities, which made becoming a Mental Health Nurse/Nurse Practitioner a natural progression for me.

My goals for you

When setting goals with you, I feel it is important to discuss what your expectations are from seeking treatment and to identify small changes that will significantly improve your overall well-being. Together, we create realistic, meaningful goals that align with your values and vision for your life.

Our first session

I will start by getting basic medical history and mental health history. I will allow the Patient to elaborate on the current mental health symptoms or disorders they need assistance or treatment. Finally, I will educate the Patient on the treatment options available and let the Patient determine which option is best for them.
