Hi there, I'm Shanton!

I am very passionate about my line of work because I do the work first, and I know how challenging the work can be. It is the most beautiful ugly experience ever.

My focus

I work with clients who have symptoms of anxiety, depression, PTSD, complex trauma, addiction, couples, grief, and interpersonal relationship skills. I currently do not have a cap on what I am most comfortable treating, as I've worked with many individuals and families who have experienced a variety of mental health diagnoses and complications.

My approach

I am a person-centered therapist, and you'd best know your story. I am here to interpret or to just be a sounding board so that we can work through it together. My most common theoretical approaches are psychodynamic, behavioral, cognitive, and humanistic.
