My communication style

I communicate in a warm and friendly manner and create a supportive, non-judgmental environment. I practice active listening and will give you opportunities to process your experiences as an empathetic partner. If we’re working through something challenging, you can expect me to be calm and patient, and I will not push you or try to control you.

My journey to mental healthcare

I began this journey when I was 20 years old. I was depressed and didn't understand why. When I learned the value of therapy, I wanted to keep learning and growing. Knowing that I can't take a person further than I have been, I stayed in therapy, which has now evolved into supervision to maintain good emotional health. I owe my clients that much.

My goals for you

I see therapy as a partnership. The first step toward change is awareness and as you gain new insights, together we’ll set goals that matter to you—whether it's improving relationships, building self-esteem, or pursuing personal growth. We will adapt the goals to match your progress as needed to allow room for transforming obstacles into resources.

Our first session

Your first session is a chance to get to know each other and discuss what brings you to therapy. It’s normal to feel nervous—therapy is a process we’ll build together over time. We’ll move at your pace, one step at a time, and I’ll be here to guide you throughout. It is important that you feel comfortable with your therapist and are a "good fit."
