My focus

I work with clients age 10 and up, offering medication management and supportive therapy for a variety of mental health disorders. I am also experienced in Medication-Assisted Treatment for Opioid Use Disorder, Alcohol Use Disorder, Nicotine Use Disorder, and much more.

My approach

My approach to mental healthcare is patient-centered, reality-based, and holistic. You cannot build rapport without understanding a person's reality.

My communication style

I like to describe my communication style as a cross between professional and personal. I want to establish a provider-client relationship that is formal, yet caring, warm, and approachable. When you leave a visit with me, I want my clients to feel at ease and free to heal at their own pace.

My journey to mental healthcare

I am a nurse by trade, and I love helping people. I love watching people transition from their worst to their best. Mental health is near and dear to my heart. I have an uncle diagnosed with Schizophrenia; I noticed he has been treated as his diagnosis instead of as a person. I wanted to change that narrative.

I approach goal setting as a patient-guided task using the SMART model (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, and Time-Bound).
