I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Therapy, Reality Therapy, Compassion Focused, Strength-Based, Person-Centered, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I select techniques that fit your needs and help you build skills for lasting change.

I am compassionate, energetic, attentive, firm, and present. I love serving others. I understand everyone's journey is unique to the individual, as well as their mental health needs and ways of coping. I demonstrate respect to each individual, and what I bring to sessions is a safe space for your voice to be heard.

My journey to mental healthcare

Honestly, I didn't grow up wanting to become a therapist. Therapy Chose Me! I love to serve others. I enjoy community work, and around my early 20s, I met a lady who stated, "You should be a social worker." My response was, "What is a social worker?" I began the journey of researching, felt like this is me.

I approach goal setting based on your goals for treatment. We'll work together using clear measures and objectives to reach them.

Our first session focuses on relationship and trust building. We'll discuss your background, mental health history, goals for therapy, frequency of treatment, and expectations. I'll assess for safety and answer any questions you have.
