Need to make a change in your life? Whether it's dealing with an acute and/or chronic mental health, or simply addressing a life issue, helping clients identify and implement positive change is what I do. I don't view therapy as "fixing our brokenness", but rather a process of moving from where we are to where we want to be. Call "good to great".
My focus
I work with individuals, couples, and families. I work with older teens and across the adult spectrum. I have experience and success working with clients that really struggling. Likewise, I enjoy and excel working with high-functioning clients who are looking for a roadmap forward toward their dreams or just trying to "sort things out".
My approach
I use a variety of treatment modalities, including CBT, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive processing, and brief solution-oriented therapy to help you identify and reshape ineffective attitudes and behaviors. I often incorporate mindfulness in working with a client. I view myself as your partner in problem-solving.
