I strive to make all patients feel comfortable during the session. It is a judgment-free zone, and I am here to listen, help, encourage, and empower.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have always had an interest in the mental health field. I started off with studying family medicine; however, I came to the realization that mental health is so often overlooked and such an underserved area. I ultimately switched career paths to work in a field that is such a vital component to overall health and wellness.

My goals for you

When setting goals, I feel it is best to break down larger goals into smaller goals and to focus on one goal at a time. I always ask patients what their primary concern is, and if that is what they would like to begin working on before tackling other areas of concern.

Our first session

During the first session, I like to gather a thorough psychosocial and medical history. I also like to ask that patients tell me any pertinent information that we may not have discussed. I also like to discuss goals and symptoms they are predominantly struggling with the most.
