My communication style

My communication style is warm, empathetic, and empowering. I’m a compassionate listener, but also someone who will gently challenge you when needed to help you grow. I aim to be clear, down-to-earth, and present, and I often incorporate education into our work, sharing tools and insights that can help you apply what we discuss in your daily life.

My journey to mental healthcare

Growing up as the daughter of immigrant parents, I developed a deep awareness of how culture, family dynamics, and unspoken expectations can shape a person’s mental health. That perspective stayed with me and eventually led me to pursue a career as a therapist. I’ve always had a passion for helping others feel seen and supported.

My goals for you

I help clients reach their goals by first identifying what truly matters to them—whether it’s healing from past wounds, navigating a life change, or living more in line with their values. From there, we collaboratively set clear, achievable goals that are grounded in their strengths.

Our first session

Our first session is all about building connection and helping you feel comfortable. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, any goals or concerns you may have, and begin to get to know each other. I’ll ask some questions to better understand your background, values, and needs, and you’re always welcome to ask me questions, too.
