Hi there, I'm Veronica!

I help clients navigate anxiety, PTSD, depression, marriage counseling, Christian counseling, and many other mental health challenges.

My focus

I enjoy working with a variety of people and want them to feel safe and heard. I want my clients to feel comfortable in therapy, where they can openly express their challenges so we can work on creating positive change. CBT is very helpful when it comes to anxiety, depression, PTSD, relationships, and much more.

My approach

I approach therapy by utilizing solution-focused practices. In the first few sessions, I will get to know my clients and their needs. I do use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help me learn past and current behaviors. By using CBT, we can discover unhealthy patterns of behavior and learn new coping skills.

My communication style

I try to create a safe environment for my clients to feel comfortable. I use humor, clear, and direct communication to help create positive change. Feeling relaxed and nonjudgmental in therapy is essential.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have always wanted to help people, and growing up would volunteer at shelters wanting to help make a difference. I did think about becoming a nurse, but after researching realized that was not my calling. I went back to school and became a therapist, and I love helping others reach milestones and goals.

My goals for you

I approach goal setting based on the client's comfort level and strengths. The client and I will discuss goal setting in an open environment and then set realistic goals for measurable change.
