Hi there, I'm Melissa!

Welcome! Congratulations on taking the first step to what can be a scary but rewarding self-awareness journey. I specialize in working with individuals navigating life transitions, anxiety, depression, and trauma. I take a client-centered approach to therapy, which means you are in charge and I'm along to help guide you through the ride.

My focus

I work with adolescents and adults managing depression, anxiety, life transitions, and self-esteem issues. Life is hard, especially when you don't feel like yourself. We can work together to develop a plan to get things back on track.

My approach

I am well-versed in several counseling styles and will adapt my style to meet your needs. I often use cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) to help identify and reshape unhelpful thought patterns. In some situations, I may use strategies from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). DBT works well to help people learn how to regulate emotions.
