My approach is built on a foundation of honesty, compassion, respect, trust, and clear communication – the same stuff ALL healthy relationships are made of. While you'll receive empathy and non-judgment here, I'm not afraid to point out any elephants in the room that might be holding you back.

My journey to mental healthcare

My decade in correctional and community mental health revealed a significant gap in care: the frequent disconnect between a person's spiritual life and their mental health support. Witnessing how often faith was sidelined or ignored in the therapeutic process fueled a deep desire in me to provide something different.

My goals for you

Here's the deal: I can't work harder in therapy than you do-that's not therapy, that's co-dependency. Instead, I can help guide and support you with understanding. Most of us are just doing the best we can with the knowledge, skills, and tools that we have. When those things are cutting it anymore, that's a prime time to come to therapy.

Our first session

The first two sessions can be considered as a ''building'' process. To be honest, they are a bit underwhelming and stuffy, but they're vital. They help us set the stage for therapy and build a strong foundation to get the ball rolling on change. The first session is like a meet-and-greet.
