My journey to mental healthcare

My journey to becoming a mental healthcare provider was driven by a deep passion for helping others and a strong belief in the power of compassionate, evidence-based care. I began my career as a nurse and quickly realized how mental health impacts every aspect of a person’s well-being. I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse populations.

I take a collaborative and personalized approach to goal setting with patients. Whether it's improving mood, managing anxiety, enhancing focus, or building healthier relationships. I help break larger goals into manageable steps that feel realistic and attainable, using (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound) strategies.

Our first session

During the first session, patients can expect a supportive and judgment-free environment focused on understanding their unique experiences and concerns. I’ll begin by gathering a comprehensive history—this includes discussing current symptoms, past mental health and medical history, family background, and any previous treatments.
