We're all doing the best we can with what we have to work with. Sometimes we can use some extra tools in our toolbox to support us in managing when life occurrences seem to pile up and we just need a break. By employing a holistic approach—not just looking at you but also at how your environment is impacting your mental health—we can utilize therapy to provide that extra support.

I practice clinical social work with experience in individual, family, and group therapy. I'm trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Seeking Safety, Motivational Interviewing, and more. I employ a holistic approach, looking not just at you but also at how your environment is impacting your mental health.

My journey to mental healthcare
My passion for the behavioral health field got put into play over 10 years ago, as a child counselor at residential group homes. Since then, I've amassed experience working with individuals ages 4 to 65 years old coping with a range of life circumstances including trauma, homelessness, and more. From June 2019 to June 2021, I completed my clinical hours for licensure at San Diego Youth Services and Community Research Foundation in San Diego, CA.
