I approach each family and individual as unique and will use a holistic approach tailored to their needs. My focus is on children, adolescents, and families.

I love working with children and adolescents, having worked with severely emotionally disturbed and foster youth for over 18 years. Also working with individuals with SUD.

My approach

I use an eclectic approach using cognitive behavioral therapy, behavioral therapy, and other theoretical approaches, gauging which theoretical approach would work best with each individual and family.

My communication style

I am friendly, outgoing, and down-to-earth. I am able to make people feel welcome and comfortable about opening up about their personal lives to me.

My journey to mental healthcare

I am clean and sober with working knowledge of the 12 steps. I am a survivor of domestic violence. My father was an alcoholic, my mother was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, and I have seven brothers. I have done this work and am now happy, joyous, and free. I want to share my experience, strength, and hope to show others how to thrive.
