Hi there, I'm Allyson!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of California with over 4 years of experience working as a therapist and over 15 years of professional experience related to trauma and abuse-related issues. I look forward to working with you to support and empower you in taking steps toward a more fulfilling and happier life.

My approach

My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic, and solution-focused counseling. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. My counseling style is warm and interactive.

My focus

I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, and ADHD. I also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse. I am willing to see individuals and couples.

My communication style

I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels.

My journey to mental healthcare

I completed my clinical hours for licensure from October 2016 to November 2018 at Valley State Prison under the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. My experience there, along with over 15 years working on trauma and abuse-related issues, motivated me to pursue a career supporting others as a therapist.
