I am a mental health professional committed to helping my clients find the version of self they desire and working together to create a safe space to heal and grow. With a Master of Science in Psychology from Azusa Pacific University, I bring professional experience working with diverse clients including families, teens, couples, and individuals.
My approach
My therapeutic approach is grounded in the belief that one of the bravest things you can do is begin to understand your own story. I strive to create a safe and supportive environment where clients feel understood and empowered to strengthen their relationships. Drawing from a range of modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Gestalt, Narrative, and Trauma-Focused approaches, I tailor my approach to each client's unique needs.
My focus
I specialize in working with adolescents/teens, adults, couples, and families dealing with a wide range of concerns including trauma, depression, anxiety, PTSD, grief, divorce/separation, human sexuality, and LGBTQIA+ issues. I am also experienced in areas such as ADHD, anger management, career counseling, life transitions, and women's issues.
My communication style
My communication style is warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental. I believe in the importance of active listening and creating a space where clients feel heard and validated. I aim to ask thoughtful questions, provide helpful insights and feedback, and collaborate with clients to develop practical strategies for growth and change.
My goals for you
My goals for you are to help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself, build resilience, learn effective coping skills, and ultimately live a more fulfilling life. Whether you are struggling with a specific issue or looking for personal growth, I am here to support you on your journey with compassion and without judgment.
My first session with you
In our first session, we will focus on getting to know each other and exploring what brings you to therapy. I will ask about your background, current challenges, and hopes for our work together. This is also an opportunity for you to ask me any questions and get a sense of whether we will be a good therapeutic fit. My aim is for you to leave feeling heard, hopeful, and with a clearer sense of the path forward.
