My communication style

My communication style supports a calm environment, good communication, and is client-focused. When you work with me, I hope you feel comfortable, heard, and supported as you work on your issues. Feel free to speak your mind in session; there is no judgment as we move forward.

My journey to mental healthcare

Becoming a therapist is my second career, one I love. What drives me is watching clients grow, gathering information, and new interventions using them, while moving towards their goals. What I like the most is when a client states, I finally get it!

My goals for you

I like to approach goal setting and strategizing with the client, creating goals together that they want to achieve as they move forward. It is important for me to make sure that a client has a voice and choice. This is a time to express yourself, be heard, and validated.

Our first session

The first session is a time to get to know each other. It is helpful if the measurements are completed, giving more information about filling out the assessment and treatment plan. It is a time for clients to do some self-reflection on where they want to be when therapy is concluded.
