My communication style

My sessions are focused, structured, and intellectually and emotionally engaged. I provide empathic listening while actively working with clients to address trauma-shaped nervous-system, emotional, and identity patterns. This work requires commitment and participation; clients who engage thoughtfully tend to benefit most.

My journey to mental healthcare

I was drawn to this work through a sustained interest in how relational environments—across family, social, and interpersonal systems—shape the brain, identity, and psychological adaptation. I am driven by the clinical challenge of working at a structural level to reorganize trauma-shaped patterns into more integrated, value-aligned functioning.

My goals for you

Goal setting is collaborative and grounded in clinical formulation. Goals focus on reorganizing trauma-shaped nervous-system and identity patterns, strengthening regulatory flexibility, and aligning functioning with core values. Goals are reviewed and refined as patterns shift and capacity increases.

Our first session

The first and second sessions are primarily evaluation. I spend time listening and asking targeted questions to understand relational history, current patterns, and nervous-system responses. This allows for clinical formulation, goal clarification, and assessment of fit before interventions begin.
