I typically prefer to learn what best suits the client. In my experience, communication style is part of culture. When needed, I am comfortable being direct yet supportive to assist clients in reaching their goals.

My journey to mental healthcare

I really enjoy learning about and getting to know people from different backgrounds. I have learned that taking the time to try and understand someone with empathy and active listening can change that person's world.

My goals for you

Goal setting is always collaborative and should take into consideration the clients' life stage, developmental level, cultural and or spiritual needs, and family dynamics.
