My approach
The approach I take depends on the client's current challenges. The most effective theory for my practice has been Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Family Therapy since both modalities assist in addressing a wide range of presenting problems. It assists both client and me in getting to the root cause of most concerns by providing deeper understanding of etymology to outline possible solutions and coping mechanisms we can implement.

My communication style
Clients find me relatable and that I am allied with them. My clients have a rapport with me which gives them enough confidence and comfort to express themselves freely. I am honored my clients want to share their experiences.
My journey to mental healthcare
I have always been the problem solver and mediator of my family. I love learning and am very analytical which I found fits perfectly with being a Marriage and Family Therapist. I put other people's best interests at the forefront of my decision-making and love to see friends and family succeed.
My goals for you
Clients are empowered to assist in the goal-setting process ensuring that the plan aligns with their desired result. I act as a guide in establishing the key points that need to be addressed based on the presenting problem.
My first session with you
The first session is about getting to know the client and letting them get comfortable with me and sharing their story. We will discuss specifics on background of presenting concerns and how it affects their present situation and possibly the approach I would take to help navigate them through treatment.
