My communication style

I believe the most important thing for any therapist to do is to listen. I work to hear and understand who you are and what you would like to achieve. I will be present with you as you walk through your pain. I will provide new insights and reflect on your strengths and abilities you may not recognize in yourself.

My journey to mental healthcare

A social worker came into my life and helped me find my way. That is why I became a social worker to help others find their way. I know from experience how hard it is to reach out for help. My journey to become healthy and whole allows me a broad understanding of, and compassion for, what you are struggling with.

My goals for you

We start wherever you are and work on goals you will identify as being important to you. This is your journey, and I believe in working together to help you achieve the things that are important to you.

Our first session

We start with a conversation about what brings you to therapy and what you would like to accomplish. This will also be a time for you to get some idea as to whether I may be the right fit for you. It is most important that you feel safe and comfortable with the therapist you choose.
