I have spent a great deal of time supporting individuals to find healing and move forward in reaching their goals. I feel incredibly humbled to be able to come alongside others and be a part of their journey toward healing and wholeness.
My approach
I tailor my approach specifically to your struggles and to who you are as a person. My approach as a Marriage and Family Therapist is to work with you to explore new solutions that are both personally meaningful and have a long-term impact. I utilize modalities including Christian Counseling, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused therapy, Strength-Based approaches, and Couples Therapy.
My focus
I am willing to see minors (ages 13-17), individuals, and couples. My specialties include working with adolescents/teens, depression, men's issues, sexual addiction, spirituality, and marital/pre-marital counseling.
My communication style
I try to meet each individual where they are with respect, empathy, and hope for growth and recovery.
My journey to mental healthcare
I earned my Master of Arts degree in Psychology. My clinical hours for licensure took place from February 2011 to June 2011 at Valley Community Support Services, and from June 2011 to April 2013 at Telecare Corporation.
