My approach

My therapeutic approach combines Dialectical Therapy and Mindfulness practices. I utilize techniques from Attachment-based therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, Coaching, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Couples Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Group Therapy, Mindfulness-Based therapies, Play Therapy, Psychoanalytic therapy, Solution Focused therapy, and Strength-Based approaches.

My focus

I work with diverse populations including adolescents, teenagers, parents, adults, and young adults. My specialties include treating ADHD, anxiety, behavioral issues, bipolar disorder, borderline personality, codependency, coping skills, cultural stress, depression, divorce, dual diagnosis, family conflict, grief, mood disorders, psychosis, school issues, self-esteem, stress, substance use, trauma and PTSD, and gender identity.

My communication style

In our sessions, I create a warm, non-judgmental space for open dialogue. I listen attentively to understand your unique perspective and needs. I believe in collaborating with you to develop a personalized treatment plan aligned with your goals.

My journey to mental healthcare

I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology from California State University, Stanislaus. I later went on to earn my Master's in Social Work from the same university. My path to mental healthcare has included working in various settings such as Child Protective Services, Inpatient Psychiatric Hospitals, Long-term Acute Hospitals, Home Health Services, and most recently, Outpatient Mental Health Services and Intensive Outpatient Groups. These diverse experiences motivated me to specialize in helping a wide range of people in my community.
