My focus

I typically work with adult males and females aged 18-100. I have experience working with Veterans as well as with women with a history of trauma.

My approach

My approach to therapy is to come alongside my clients and walk certain chapters of their lives with them. I use a mixture of mindfulness, solution-focused therapy, behavioral therapy, and cognitive therapy with my clients. I want to meet the person in the season they are in and find what works best for them.

My communication style

I hope to make my clients comfortable sharing in an environment that can cause healing and growth.

My journey to mental healthcare

I believe that I was chosen for this field. I have always been the one people share with. I have always been the one who can hold confidence, challenge someone in kindness, and be authentic when people generally say to me, 'I never tell people all this'. I hold this gift with compassion and respect.

My goals for you

I use solution-focused SMART goals (S=Specific, M=measurable, A=attainable, R=realistic, T=timely). I also use action plans and safety plans as needed with each client.

Our first session

We would have an intake, which is where I learn about you, your history, what brings you into treatment, what has and hasn't worked in therapy before, as well as your personal goals. I believe the client is the expert in their lives, and my job is to work myself out of a job.
