I believe in overall wellness, so my approach to therapy is client/solution-focused, psychoeducational, and preventative while working with adults/older adults with anxiety, mood, and adjustment disorders. I think that everyone motivated by change is equipped to take a different path for a healthier lifestyle.
My focus
My usual client profile is individual adults/older adults who may be dealing with anxiety, mood, and adjustment disorders (i.e., stress with life transitions). I also enjoy empowering/educating families with loved ones diagnosed with severe and persistent mental illness.
My approach
Just like everyone has a different learning style, my therapeutic approach is individually tailored to your current needs, depending on the dynamics of specific barriers presented. I do tend to utilize Solution-focused, Mindfulness, and Cognitive Behavioral approaches.
