As an accomplished mental health professional, I bring extensive experience in emergency psychiatric evaluation, stabilization, and referrals to my practice. My expertise includes working with individuals facing acute mental health conditions, substance abuse, domestic violence, HIV/AIDS treatment referrals, grief/loss, crisis intervention, abuse/neglect factors, and treatment analysis and planning.

My approach to therapy is grounded in being culturally sensitive, interpersonal, person-centered, solution focused, and strength-based. I tailor my therapeutic strategies to meet the unique needs and goals of each individual I work with.
My focus
I specialize in providing therapy to individuals, including minors aged 13-17. My areas of focus include career counseling, child abuse or neglect, depression, dual diagnosis, impulsivity, mood disorders, oppositional defiance, pregnancy/prenatal/postpartum issues, psychosis, self-esteem, self-harming behaviors, suicidal ideation, teen violence, and trauma/PTSD.

My journey to mental healthcare
My journey to mental healthcare began with earning my Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from California State University, Fresno. I completed the program between April 2010 and May 2012, which provided me with a strong foundation in clinical social work practices and ignited my passion for helping others navigate life's challenges.

During our first session, we will focus on building a strong therapeutic alliance and creating a comfortable, trusting environment. I will take the time to listen to your story, understand your current concerns, and discuss your expectations for therapy. Together, we will identify your goals and develop a personalized treatment plan that aligns with your unique needs and aspirations.
