My name is Griselda Vega, I am a first-generation Mexican-American bilingual Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in Los Angeles, California, and working with clients statewide via telehealth. I work with adults and adolescents. I specialize in working with individuals with depression, anxiety, PTSD, relationship difficulties, anger management, abuse, communication issues, domestic violence, grief/loss, changes in family dynamics, generational trauma, and life transitions. Through an eclectic approach, strengths-based, trauma-informed, cognitive behavioral, and person-centered, I recognize the importance of building a relationship with clients in order to establish realistic and attainable goals together.

My journey to mental healthcare
I decided to become a therapist because I have always had a love for helping others, regardless of the setting they find themselves. It provides me the opportunity to offer compassion, inspire hope, and teach the skills needed to overcome challenges. I love seeing individuals become the best versions of themselves and make a difference in their lives.
My goals for you
To goal set WITH you. You are the expert in your own life and I am here to support you with what you feel is most important to prioritize.
My first session with you
First off, I would love the opportunity to get to know you, and would ideally like to get an idea of previous therapy experience to be able to gauge what might have been helpful and something that you may continue to want to incorporate into your sessions. I also want to be able to get to know your expectations for therapy specifically with some goals, whether short term or long term that you may have in mind.
