Hello and welcome! My name is Carmen Flores-Martinez and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of California. I have 11 years of experience working with teenagers, adults, couples, and families. I am a bilingual therapist fluent in both Spanish and English.
My approach
I practice from a client-centered approach in which I provide a comfortable, safe, and non-judgmental stance. My therapeutic modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Experiential Therapy, Complicated Grief Therapy (CGT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Mindfulness-Based approaches, and Motivational Interviewing.

I have wide-ranging experience in working with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, psychosis, personality disorders, divorce, grief, relationship issues, self-esteem, and stress.

My goal is to provide a warm and comforting environment to ensure I meet your comfort level. I understand and empathize with the mixed emotions that come with seeking help.

I completed my clinical hours for licensure between February 2013 and May 2016.
