Have you ever felt alone in a crowded room? Like nobody could possibly understand what you are going through? Like your world is spinning out of control, and you don’t know how to stop or slow it down? I want to be there to help you get out of the darkness, the place where no one else is allowed or has been. It can be lonely there, and I want you to know you don’t have to be there alone. I will sit with you while we get you through whatever it is that is bothering you without judgment. You are not alone. Big or little, together, we will overcome your struggles. I have helped individuals of all ages, including children, adults, and the geriatric population. I have sat with those who have suffered from depression, anxiety, and end-of-life situations. I am open to speaking with you about your Christian faith and how that affects your life and decisions if you choose. Finding the right therapist is the first step. I am a firm believer that connection and comfortability are critical in building a strong therapeutic relationship.
My approach
My therapeutic approach consists of motivational interviewing, Christian Counseling, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Gestalt, solution-focused, trauma-focused, strength-based, supportive, and grief. I specialize in anxiety, depression, life transitions, self-esteem, stress, and spirituality.
My focus
I work with individuals 18 and above who suffer from Job Stress, Life Coaching, Stress, Spirituality, Anxiety, Depression, Life Transitions, Pregnancy, Prenatal, Postpartum, and Self-esteem.
My communication style
I am fully engaged in the session, with a soft and gentle demeanor. I create a safe and non-judgmental space, so you feel welcome to express yourself.
My first session with you
My goal in the first session is to help you feel welcome and safe so we can explore your triggers and stressors. "What is bringing you to therapy?" Once we have explored the answer, together, we can create a treatment plan so we have direction and obtainable goals moving forward in sessions.
