My focus

I work with adolescents and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, and self-esteem issues to develop a plan to meet individual goals.

My approach

I believe in a collaborative, person-centered approach to help you meet your therapeutic goals. I often utilize Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to target beliefs, feelings, and behaviors, as well as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to teach mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness.

I believe in clear, open communication; practice active listening; and will allow opportunities for reflection. I value a supportive, non-judgmental space.

My journey to mental healthcare

My journey began with an early interest in psychology and a calling to help others. I've worked in educational settings, trauma intensive outpatient, community mental health, hospital settings, and with individuals who are homeless. I have seen therapy play a remarkable role in healing, and I am honored to be part of that journey.
