I work with clients, couples, and families on uncovering the roots of their presenting problems and helping them find new ways of healing so they can live a more fulfilling life.
My focus
I have worked with couples, children, adolescents, young adults, and families. I have experience working with several mental health disorders, including but not limited to: depression, anxiety, PTSD, adjustment disorders, bipolar, and ADHD. I have worked with clients on childhood traumas, sexual abuse, and many more.
My approach
As an Emotionally Focused Therapist, I believe that our past has an influence on who we are today, and faulty thinking or attachment styles that stem from our past can share insight into the problems we have in the present. I like to help clients recognize their emotions and learn how to effectively communicate with others about their needs.
