Hi there, I'm Jamie!

I am here to walk with you as you discover who you are, what you need, and the change you want to make. My approach is client-centered, collaborative, and solution-focused to help you reach the life you desire.

My focus

I work with adults struggling to manage emotions that impact their day-to-day life, including relationships, decision-making, life transitions, job performance, self-care, self-esteem, and communication. Together, we will find a path to increase confidence and empowerment.

My approach

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help you identify current thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and how they impact your progress. I assist in problem-solving, education, skill-building, and mindfulness so you have a full toolbox. Our goal is to equip you with resources to meet barriers head-on and move forward with confidence.

My communication style

I am an active listener and also provide feedback, challenging questions, and encouragement. My clients are encouraged to share what is working and what feels unhelpful. This is an open, safe environment for you to share. This is your time.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have always cared and wanted to know who people are. My connection to others feels easy because I am interested. Working with individuals facing different challenges helped me see their humanity, strength, and humor, allowing for greater understanding and knowing that healing is possible with anyone who has the desire.

My goals for you

As partners, we will identify goals, barriers, and steps needed to achieve the change you would like to make. We may focus on strengths, communication, relationships, self-care, meaningful activities, self-worth, and other areas you identify. Goals can change, and we can be flexible enough to take a new path.

Our first session

Our first session will be a gathering of information so I can get to know you and some of your experiences that have guided you to therapy. We will also touch on your goals, what you want to change, and what you want to get back in your life. This is just a calm conversation between two people.
