Hi there, I'm Russell!

I am an LCSW, and I have been in practice for 50 years. I specialize in Mood Disorders, Trauma, and obsessive thoughts and behaviors.

My focus

Mostly clients I deal with are men, women, and couples. Also single parents, and trauma victims.

My approach

I utilize CBT, Psychoeducation, Mindfulness and meditation, Buddhist concepts that have proven useful in my practice.

My journey to mental healthcare

My work began after college in 1966 when I became a probation officer/child-welfare worker in L.A. The idea of being independent and a provider was a dream I needed to pursue. I entered California State University at Fresno School of Social Work and earned an MSW. I became an LMFT and practiced independently. Later in '79 I was licensed as an LCSW.

My goals for you

My work is evidence based. I collect extensive and detailed histories that seamlessly become treatment. I am very interested in attachment theories, and psycho-dynamics.
