I work through Rula as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a PsyD in Clinical Psychology. I believe you start where a client is, pivoting the focus to align with the treatment plan and goals. I work from a judgment-free perspective, identifying changes you want to see within your life while improving interpersonal relationships.
My focus
I have a long history of providing therapeutic and community-based services to teens and adults of all ages. My experience has led me to work with clients who have many different diagnoses, such as depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, personality disorders, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and addiction.
My approach
I use a neuroscience perspective on mental health, focusing on how the brain processes information, improving coping, and managing anxiety and stressors. The most common approaches I utilize are Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, and Internal Family Systems.
