Hello, my name is Rebecca Lawrence, a Marriage and Family Therapist and licensed for over 20 years. It is a privilege to collaborate and help others find personal growth and relevant meaning in life events and relationships.
My approach
My approach in providing therapy is to first create a safe and welcoming space where a client can unload and receive support as they tell their story and share feelings. I utilize a Gestalt approach, Cognitive-Behavioral structure, and overall Compassion-based attention to what the client needs.
My focus
The majority of clients I see have depression, anxiety, grief, physical illness, past and current trauma, job stress, and relational conflicts.
My communication style
I create a space that is safe and comfortable for clients to express their thoughts and feelings. I build strength and confidence in clients by acknowledging growth and exploring hopes and dreams. The session is a time to open the heart and mind to be seen and heard.
