I work in a collaborative approach to build on strengths and learn new skills of communication, coping, and unity to build relationships. I use CBT and DBT with Mindfulness concepts, along with Solution Focused Therapy, to ensure all sessions are "working sessions" where we can apply skills to meet your goals and needs.

My journey to mental healthcare

I was diagnosed with Juvenile Diabetes at 10 years old and was faced with learning how to cope with this significant change in my life. This experience allowed me to learn coping skills and strategies to overcome the road bumps that we experience in life and provided me with a passion for providing the same knowledge to others.

Goals are the backbone of our treatment, and I believe they can change constantly to meet your needs on a per-session basis. My goal is to help my clients get there.

Our first session

In our first session, we will define our treatment goals to create a clear roadmap for what we are trying to accomplish with our time together. From there, we will review various examples or circumstances relevant to those goals and start with real-time and life application of skills to achieve goals.
