My approach

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as a foundation. Understanding how emotions and thoughts drive behavior helps reduce symptoms like anxiety, trauma, and depression. I incorporate brain science to explain why symptoms occur and teach calming strategies to help you manage them effectively.

I communicate in a transparent, non-judgmental way. I look at symptoms and behavior from many angles to understand your thoughts and emotions in context. You can expect openness and understanding at all times.

My journey to mental healthcare

My journey began in grade school, hearing my aunt's stories about her work with families. I've worked with sexual abuse survivors and have come full circle to family and individual therapy work, bringing depth and compassion to my practice.
