Hi there, I'm Hillary!

Hello, my name is Hillary Wilson and I am a licensed marriage and family therapist with over 25 years of experience working with individuals and families. I work in a family systems approach. My practice focuses on individuals and couples impacted by adoption, parenting, grief, and divorce.

My approach

My primary therapeutic approach is psychodynamic and family systems. I utilize solution-focused and cognitive behavioral therapy tools to guide your progress.

My focus

My work is focused on individual and family therapy to help with parenting strategies, healing from Divorce or loss, and Adoption counseling for couples and individuals needing a therapist that truly understands the complexity of fostering and Adoption.

My communication style

I provide a warm and comfortable nonjudgmental approach while challenging you to look at your life situation, process your choices, and consider if they work for you or against you.

My journey to mental healthcare

I was drawn to become a therapist in college after losing my adoptive mother. Therapy helped me to heal and grow as a person. I enjoy guiding others to navigate through life stressors while achieving their goals.

I will listen carefully to the areas that challenge your life and assess your goals with you. We will clearly discuss your goals for therapy and check in on their progress.
