I work with adolescents and adults who are trying to self-regulate whatever challenges life has or is throwing at them to respond in a healthy and appropriate way. I look forward to working with you to create goals and a plan to strive towards a better self.

My approach

I utilize various skills and techniques I have gained through training and experience to assist you in exploring whatever it is we may work on, but you are the expert of your life. I like to focus on strengths and solutions while gently challenging you to work towards your goals.

My communication style

Creating a safe, non-judgmental, welcoming environment where you feel comfortable being your genuine self is important. I like to use humor, but overall have a calm demeanor.

My journey to mental healthcare

As cliché as it sounds, I've always had a desire to help others. I have worked with families in difficult situations, at-risk youth, and adults. I truly enjoy supporting and seeing individuals do the work to heal, gain confidence, set healthy boundaries, and function at their best selves.

I am here to support you in reaching your goals and to remind you that it's okay to start small. I believe in a partnership where validation and accountability are equally important.

Our first session

During our first session, we will have a discussion about you and what it is that brings you to therapy. Getting to know you will be an ongoing process, but the first session will set the foundation of our therapeutic relationship and start goal-setting.
