I help individuals and families struggling with anxiety, depression, postpartum mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, and adjustment to life transitions. My goal is to create a safe space where you can share your innermost thoughts and find a new path forward.

I specialize in treating parents struggling with mental health challenges during pregnancy and postpartum, including anxiety, depression, or difficulty adjusting to parenthood. I also work with individuals facing anxiety, depression, life transitions, or trauma at any stage in life.

My approach

My approach is client-centered, warm, and relational. I draw from psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, and attachment-based theories to determine what best meets your specific needs. I don't believe in one-size-fits-all and will work with you to help you feel understood, supported, and empowered.

My communication style

I create a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space for all my clients. My goal is to establish an environment where you feel safe to share your thoughts and feelings while feeling seen and validated.

My journey to mental healthcare

I became drawn to this work as an undergraduate when I took my first psychology courses. Obtaining my graduate degree felt like the right fit to combine my passion for social justice and advocacy with mental health.

I take a collaborative approach with you when setting therapeutic goals to make sure you feel that I understand your unique needs and to ensure that our work together is focused.

My goal is to get to know you, introduce myself and explain how we will work together, explain what therapy entails, and address any questions or concerns you may have. I hope to create a welcoming space where you feel heard and comfortable moving forward.
