We are all just doing the best that we can, but it is easy to feel depleted, alone, anxious, or depressed. Making the decision and commitment to better one's self is difficult, to say the least. I am here to help you achieve your goals.
My approach
I aim to provide a safe and trusting environment for you to explore your emotions, experiences, relationships, and struggles. Therapy can be a great place to slow down, think carefully about your life, and get support. I work collaboratively with my clients, and work to empower and nurture every individual's strengths.
My focus
I have experience working with adults, children, and families struggling with a wide range of challenges, such as depression, anxiety, trauma, work/academic issues, and relationship conflicts. I have extensive experience in grief and loss, as well as emotional/behavioral challenges in children and teens.
My communication style
I believe education is a primary tool for change. Through education and practice of useful skills, I believe anyone can develop new tools to alleviate their emotional distress, problematic behaviors, and improve their overall self-worth. It is a process, and it won't happen overnight, but I am here to walk alongside you.
My journey to mental healthcare
I received my Master of Arts (MA) from Brandman University in Palm Desert, CA from September 2014 to May 2017.
My goals for you
My goal is to help you alleviate emotional distress, change problematic behaviors, improve your self-worth, and provide support as you work through life challenges. I want to empower you with useful skills and tools for positive change.
My first session with you
In our first session, we will explore what brings you to therapy and what you hope to achieve. It will be a chance for us to get to know each other and start building a trusting therapeutic relationship. I want to understand your unique struggles and strengths so we can collaborate on a treatment plan tailored to your needs.
