Hi there, I'm Sherri!

As a licensed psychologist, I provide expert opinion, diagnostic evaluation, and assessment by interpreting a compendium of neuropsychological examinations. I take into account detailed information regarding your biological inheritance, socio-cultural background, and personality to arrive at a comprehensive understanding of your mental health needs.

My approach

My therapeutic approach draws from a range of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and psychodynamic techniques. I tailor my approach to your unique needs, goals, and preferences to facilitate meaningful growth and change.

My focus

I specialize in working with individuals facing a wide spectrum of mental health challenges, such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, gender identity issues, and more. Whether you are grappling with relationship difficulties, career stressors, or existential concerns, I am here to provide a safe, non-judgmental space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings.

My communication style

My communication style is warm, empathetic, and collaborative. I believe in fostering a strong therapeutic alliance built on trust, respect, and open dialogue. I will listen attentively to your experiences, offer insights and guidance when appropriate, and empower you to take an active role in your healing journey.

My journey to mental healthcare

My journey to becoming a therapist has been a deeply personal and transformative one. It began with a profound curiosity about the human mind and a desire to understand the complexities of human behavior. As I embarked on my academic journey, pursuing a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, I immersed myself in the study of psychological theory and therapeutic techniques. However, it was through real-world experience in diverse clinical settings that I truly found my calling. Each encounter with clients further fueled my passion for helping others navigate their challenges and discover their inner strength. Today, as a therapist, I am humbled to walk alongside individuals on their journey to healing and self-discovery, drawing upon my own experiences to provide empathy, understanding, and support.

My goals for you

My ultimate goal is to help you develop a deeper understanding of yourself, build resilience, and acquire the tools necessary to navigate life's challenges with greater ease and confidence. Whether you seek symptom relief, personal growth, or a greater sense of purpose and fulfillment, I am committed to supporting you every step of the way.

My first session with you

During our first session, we will discuss your reasons for seeking therapy, explore your background and current circumstances, and collaboratively establish goals for our work together. This initial meeting is an opportunity for us to get to know each other, address any questions or concerns you may have, and determine if we are a good fit to embark on this therapeutic journey together.
