My communication style

I work towards creating a safe environment and space for my clients to build rapport. We explore their strengths, needs, and goals for treatment before starting sessions. Based on client's needs and overall functioning, I meet them where they're at but also challenge them throughout treatment to meet their goals.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have always been interested in the behaviors of people. I started by enjoying working in school settings until I realized I wanted to learn more about individuals' emotional and psychosocial needs.

My goals for you

I like to use Person-centered approaches to get a deeper understanding of my clients' goals and insight into presenting symptoms and impairments in their lives.

Our first session

I like to complete an initial evaluation with them to gain better insight and an idea of important domains in their life (family, home, educational, occupational, social/emotional). I like reviewing it with them in case they don't include it in an intake they complete on their own.
