My communication style

In my sessions, the ultimate goal is to help create an environment where the client feels safe and comfortable enough to be able to discuss and explore their issues. I have a clear, direct, and interactive style- I ask a lot of questions and expect that we will engage in back-and-forth discussions as we work through the issues.

My journey to mental healthcare

I love working with people to help them find their strengths and resources to come up with solutions for problem areas in their lives. I love meeting people and coming to understand their walk in life and what has gotten them to where they are now.

My goals for you

Goal setting is a joint process, where we work together to evaluate what meaningful change would look like and how it would be defined.

Our first session

In the first session, we spend time getting to know each other. I ask questions about the information you provided and your reason for seeking therapy. We review what happens during sessions and expectations on both sides.
