Therapy is a journey. If you're willing to invest your time and energy then the work necessary for change will come by more easily.

My approach

I believe a direct approach is most helpful. That means that, after a brief check-in, you will share what your wishes are for the particular session. You are deciding where we're going. My role is to be your guide, helping ensure a successful journey.

My communication style

I will check-in with you at each session to learn how you're doing and also learn what your wishes are for that particular therapy session. The focus will always be what you communicate to be your present concern.

Helping others is something I enjoy. Being a bit selfish, I sought out how I best can be helpful.

My goals for you

After you share what problem you would like to work on, we collaboratively explore what has helped make the change difficult and also learn more by carefully examining a moment of said problem. We then will try various methods/techniques to address the problem to your satisfaction.

The first session can be a bit tedious because we are answering questions that help share why we're seeking help and answering questions on our life's journey.
