Feelings matter. I look forward to joining you on your journey to feeling better again and helping you resolve the issues that you need to work on or change. A journey always begins with the first step. If you're struggling with feelings of sadness, depression, anxiety, or relationship issues, I can help.
My approach
My approach to therapy is centered on you. I draw from a range of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Mindfulness-Based approaches, and others to tailor treatment to your unique needs. I provide a supportive, non-judgmental space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings.
My focus
I work with individuals of all ages, from children to older adults. I also see couples and families. Some of the issues I specialize in include ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, grief, relationship issues, and women's issues. I'm LGBTQIA+ affirming and work with clients around gender identity.
My communication style
My communication style is warm, empathetic, and direct. I believe in collaborating with you and empowering you to make positive changes. I'll listen closely to understand your experience, offer insights and coping strategies, and support you every step of the way.
My journey to mental healthcare
I earned my Master of Arts in Psychology from Azusa Pacific University. I was drawn to a career in mental health out of a deep desire to help people live happier, more fulfilling lives. I believe we all have the inner strength and wisdom to overcome life's challenges, and therapy can help unlock that potential.
My goals for you
My goal is for you to gain greater self-awareness, learn effective coping skills, improve your relationships, and ultimately enhance your overall well-being and life satisfaction. I want to equip you with the tools to not only resolve current issues but also navigate future challenges with resilience.
My first session with you
In our first session, we'll discuss what's bringing you to therapy and what you hope to gain from our work together. I'll ask about your background, current situation, and any symptoms you're experiencing. We'll begin to develop a therapeutic rapport and collaborate on a treatment plan tailored to your specific goals. You can ask me any questions you have about my approach.
