I am a bilingual therapist. As your therapist, I will provide you with the space to be your authentic self.

My focus

I primarily work with young adults and adults who are dealing with depression, anxiety, stress, self-esteem, and eating disorders and with individuals who are simply having a difficult time adjusting to life transitions.

My approach

In my therapy sessions, I utilize many different approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Person-Centered, Supportive Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and other theoretical approaches.

My communication style

As a fluent Spanish-speaking therapist, I strive to create a space where you can express yourself comfortably. I will provide an empathetic, non-judgmental, and compassionate environment. I welcome feedback on how we can improve our therapeutic relationship and tailor sessions to your needs.

My journey to mental healthcare

My path to mental healthcare originated from my personal experiences and challenges as first generation Latina. I understand the courage it takes to be vulnerable while achieving your personal goals. My path has fueled the desire to be an advocate and to help others find their healing.

In our sessions together, my goal for you is to gain insight, build your toolbox with coping skills, build self-compassion, and create the changes you desire.

Our first session

In our first session, I will gather information about you and your current situation. We will then discuss what goals would you like to achieve with our time together. We will collaborate and tailor the goals to your current needs. I want you to feel heard and validated as we continue this process together.
